Three great games played in the rain today, well done for braving the conditions.

It evidently wasn’t cold enough for Ben who went for a swim after the games to cool off.

A big thanks to Mikey for fixing the goal wires on the far bank yesterday, and for getting there early today to set up.

And thanks to Louise for score keeping all afternoon in the rain.

 

A reminder that round 2 is on next week, 24th June.

CCCP Winter Series Premier League

The Premier League format provides exciting, high quality competition between evenly matched teams, with a focus on player development and retention of experienced players.

New to this series is the introduction of a Div 2 competition with the same exciting format.

Format:       No need to form a team, players enter as individuals.

                    Players nominating for the Premier League will be selected into one of 3 teams in either Div 1 or Div 2.

                    All teams play two games every round.

                    A 60sec shot clock will be used in both Div 1 and Div 2

                    Six rounds spread over the winter months – wear your cag!


Venue:        Yarra Bend Park Road – Yarra River near the Studley Park Boathouse


Dates:         Sunday afternoons 17 & 24 June, 8 & 22 July, 6 & 19 August

Time:           Div 1 start 1:30 – 3:00

                    Div 2 start 3:00 – 4:30

Entry Fee:    $50 per player – to be paid when submitting entry form.

                     Early bird discount applies if entry received by June 3rd pay only $40.

Selections:   Team selections will take place on June 12, players will be notified of their teams by SMS and/or email.
