2012 Events

The first two races have been noted as TBA (to be advised) the race will go ahead, however, the location has yet to be confirmed and will depend on water levels. The website will be updated by Thursday prior to the event and email notices will be sent to people on the Downriver email list.

Race report: Weather was sunny and the level was 1.18m (at Warrandyte) which was afar cry from the sorry levels on Monday. The race distance was comparitevely short but the competitors made up for this with some very fast times. Fastest female on the day was Dita Pahl and the fastest male was Mathew French.

Thanks to Vanessa Goss and Roy Farrance for their help on start and finsh. Next race is June 24 - location TBA (depending on river levels)

River was up due to the recent rains which made for interesting paddling over Bob's rock and the island rapid. Thanks to Angie Wharton on start and Graham Hobbs on finish.
