Melbourne Competition

Please Note - site is contantly updated as seasons start and finish and other events are run.

Spring 2014 is nearing a close

Wednesday night comp is now finished. Congratulations to novice winners FACTS and C Grade winners BOMBERS!

Tuesday comp is now on hiatus and restarts on 7th October for the final two rounds.

  • Things are tight at the top and bottom of A Grade. The next round on October 7th is shaping up as season defining for the two top teams, with Kinghts and Bohica battling out for the championship; while the final round on 14th October sees bottom teams Chiefs and Longshots battle it out to avoid the wooden spoon.
  • In B Grade Vic Secret have it all to lose, needing only a draw in their remaining two games to claim top spot; while only a big win for Fly Girls can save them from claiming the wooden spoon.

Tuesday Night Draw - Updated 27/08/2014
Wednesday Night Draw
The ladder - Updated 11/09/2014

Notice for all players - There are no finals this season. The team finishing top of the ladder will be declared the winner of the league.

Notice for all B Grade players - New playoff format.

  • After week 10, the ladder was frozen and split into a 'Championship Zone' (top 4 sides) and a 'Relegation Zone' (bottom 4 sides).
  • For the remainder of the season, each team will play against other teams in their 'zone'.
  • Teams in the Championship Zone will play off for positions 1 to 4.
  • Teams in the Relegation Zone will play off for positions 5 to 8.

New players are always welcome - no paddling experience necessary at all.

As always, if you are a team needing players, or a player needing a team please contact Megan and let her know so she can help.
